Today we unveiled the maquette of the statue to a small gathering of locals in the front garden of Britten’s childhood home at Kirkley.

We were joined by the sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, his wife Hazel, Peter Aldous MP and representatives of the Kirkley People’s Forum who have so warmly embraced the project.
